Return & Refund Policy

We advise all customers to inspect their products upon delivery before discarding any packaging. You have 10 (ten) working days from receipt of your order to notify JKL Acoustics of any concerns, excluding transit-related damage. Please review the information below carefully before initiating any return communication.

Takealot Order Returns

If your purchase was made through Takealot, all returns must be processed directly through Takealot in accordance with their policies.

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging and unused condition.

  • JKL Acoustics reserves the right to refuse items returned without prior notice or items returned in an unacceptable condition.

  • If you received a product damaged through Takealot delivery, the item must be returned to Takealot, as they may be responsible for transit-related damage.

Receipt of Damaged or Defective Items

In the unlikely event that items are delivered damaged or defective, and there is no clear evidence of damage from the courier, customers are required to:

  • Notify JKL Acoustics within 24 hours of receiving the goods

  • Provide clear photographic evidence of the issue via email

Once the details have been received, we will investigate the matter.
If it is determined that the product was sent in a defective condition or damage occurred in transit, JKL Acoustics will replace the affected item.

If damage or defects are not reported within 24 hours, we may be unable to offer a refund, replacement, or exchange.

Returned damaged items must be sent back to JKL Acoustics before a replacement is dispatched. Customers may not retain damaged items.

General Returns

Customers may return eligible goods within 10 (ten) working days of purchase, provided that:

  • Items are unused

  • Items are returned in their original packaging

  • Items are in a condition suitable for resale

  • Proof of purchase is supplied

Refunds will only be processed where a valid invoice is available and will be issued using the original method of payment.

 

Customers are responsible for returned items until they arrive at JKL Acoustics. We recommend using a reliable shipping service with tracking.

Items returned without original packaging may be subject to a handling or restocking fee of up to 10%.

JKL Acoustics reserves the right to refuse returns that are sent without prior notice or returned in an unacceptable condition.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Custom-made products manufactured to specific customer requirements are not eligible for return, unless:

  • The item was damaged during transit, or

  • An error occurred during the manufacturing process

All custom return requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If JKL Acoustics is found to be responsible for a manufacturing error, the product will be replaced at no additional cost.

How to Return Items

Before returning any products, customers must contact JKL Acoustics to request return authorisation.

  • We recommend using a courier service with tracking

  • Customers remain responsible for loss or damage during return transit

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed

Return address details will be provided once a return request has been approved.

Ordering Errors

If an error is made regarding quantity or colour selection, customers must notify JKL Acoustics immediately upon receiving the products.

Customers are responsible for return shipping and any associated costs related to ordering errors.

Incorrect Product Received

If you receive a product that differs from what was ordered, please notify JKL Acoustics within 24 hours of delivery.

We will investigate the matter and arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement or exchange.
